stereo effect?

hi, im looking for an effect, that makes a mono channel to stereo: autamticall rotate to L and then to R, maybe i can set the "rhythm" of it... thankx

The plugin that does the best mono to stereo conversion is called SHEPPi and unfortunately it only works natively with 32- bit apps, so if you want to use it with Audition, you have to use a bridge app too. But it does create pretty convincing stereo out of any mono source and best of all, it's free...

This part of your question makes me wonder if you are actually asking for a plugin that creates the effect of the signal panning from side to side, sometimes called, I think "ping-pong" effect.

 

If so, one free plugin that you might want to have a look at is the Cableguys Pancake where the speed and depth of the effect can all be set by the user.
