Hello all,
I'm having trouble making a recording in Audition on my MacBookPro.
I cannot even get a signal to meter on the track I want to record on. I have tried my built-in mic, headphone mics, and audio from an app (Loopback). Nothing will work.
This is a question that has been asked many times on this forum, and usually the answer is that the person didn't have their track armed for record or didn't have the proper input selected. I have checked that. What am I missing?
Thank you.

If you have recently updated the OSX to Mojave see the answer in this thread.

Thanks Ryan,
I was struggling with this for a few hours until i saw your posts about giving access through system preferences after updating to Mojave. I use BlueJeans a lot and I feel like they prompted me in their application to give access to the microphone (I never had to go to System Preferences like this). It would be great if Audition could prompt users as well so other people don't have to go through this headache.
