Voice filter for "legendary voice"

I want to make a special voice for the beginning of a show that sounds "legendary". So what does that mean? I imagine of a dark voice, clearly understandable and in some way "misterious". A little bit like this one  Tomorrowland 2013 Belgium Introduction Trailer - YouTube ; but a little bit more deep. I have tried it by pitching the voice down, but this sounden wired and it's very difficult to understand the text. How can I do this? (I am net to Audition; I just have experience in Premiere Pro, PSD and Illustrator). Thank you!

Unfortunately that type of vocal sound is mainly down to the voice of the voiceover artist and how it was recorded rather than to any effects that Audition can add. Although some EQ, compression and reverb can certainly add to the sound. So a good mic and recording acoustic is required as well as the right sounding voice. What may help with a good capacitor mic is working very close to the mic which helps to emphasise the bass frequencies due to the proximity effect of most cardioid mics.

As ryclark says, 90% of that legendary voice is the voice itself.

On top of that, a common trick is to use a short shotgun mic (which is designed to be used at a distance) close up--this creates a proximity effect that emphasises the bass.  Add a bit of EQ and, listening to your sample, possibly some voice-enhancing multiband compression and you'll get close.

However, I stress that the voice artist has to talk a lot like that in person with no processing.
