Audition - simple thing but NOT working. Have ASIO module that I use to play videos and get the sound for that when I play the video in anything other than Audition. Audition says the module "is not working" The driver IS up to date (I'm not that stupid). Module works on several other softwares but NOT in Audition. WAS working perfectly until I did a restart. Didn't make ANY changes. Any ideas on how to get a simple ASIO module (EdirolSD90 for those who need to know) working again???Tried MME - nope. It's ASIO. Input AND output.

Couldn't tell you - insufficient information. But 'up to date' in terms of the Roland driver for an Edirol SD90 means 8/8.1 and is nowhere near current. For what reason did you restart? And what OS and Audition version are you using anyway? If you are using W10 then it's suggested that the driver here might be a better bet, although you try this at your own risk, obviously.

Yeah, the only way that the Edirol SD90 works in Windows 10 is by using the driver for VISTA believe it or not, and yep, it DOES work perfectly. It’s out-of-date on the Roland site for driver updates. Have no idea why it works in so much other stuff like Premiere/Sonar Producer/ect…and it works fine. Just suddenly it stopped working in Audition. Monkeyed with it and it works with the sound driver to my laptop but not thru the sound modules (including the Edirol). Stumped. But I know this – it has to be something really simple I’m missing. Nothing under the DEVICE DRIVERS in win10 says that there are any errors. Even tried uninstalling the driver to the module and reinstalling-nope didn’t work. Hmmmm…..
