You can't easily combine two different audio sources within Windows. And that means that Audition (and most other DAWs) can only see and use one audio device at any one time. Some USB interfaces do allow you to combine the system audio playback with it's own audio sources in a provided software mixer app. But I don't think that Presonus provide one with the Audiobox.

Hey,

first of all thanks for your answer.

But please have a look at this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAJ9rXepKZc

i know it is old but it lookslike, at least at this time, it had worked with audition in the past.

It is not really down to Audition, whether it be an old version or the latest. Audition can only record what it get sent by your audio interface and, as I said before Audition can only use one at a time. In that Youtube video both the mic and the Stereo mix were coming from the Windows soundcard drivers. However it may be possible to use something like ASIO4All to aggregate the two audio sources so that Audition can see both. Alternatively since I see that you have VAC installed you may be able to use that to route the Stereo mix into Audition at the same time as your Audiobox sound.

But as I mentioned previously many people, I believe, successfully use Skype with Skype recording apps like Pamela to do the whole thing within Skype. You will have to wait until others answer this post since I don't use Skype or do any Podcasting so I am not the expert on that aspect I'm afraid. If you do a search on Skype here in the Forum you will see all the available options that others use.
