Hi everyone !
first time poster here but long long long time Audition user ... in fact ... I am a user since COOL EDIT ... then witnessed the COOL EDIT 2 improvements ... and finally I also witness the transition to AUDITION and I used to use this program a lot !! ... promoting it worlwide during my DJ/Producer era 😉
During those first few years there were also quite a lot of changes and one of the big one was affecting the multi-track : The move from .SES files to .SESX files which are multitrack format and which trigger multiple files to get imported in your multitrack view. So there was a software released called SES2SESX to help people automigrate their .SES sessions into .SESX but this software never really worked well for me ... there were errors all over ... anyway my set of 3 QUESTIONS is :
- Do Adobe Audition in 2024 support .SES format ??
- Does it support/use .SESX format ?? for multitrack sessions ?
- Is there an efficient software to convert our old sessions to a new one ??
I am sure there are some foundation people here who exactly know which format I am talking about when I talk about .SES
Please help me dig back into my old instrumentals and mixes ! 😉

You could try installing the latest version of ses2sesx from the Adobe Exchange: https://exchange.adobe.com/apps/cc/2920/ses2sesx
