Utilize CPUs better when mixing down to file

I have a podcast template with 6 voice tracks, a dialog bus, SFX / music tracks and a final mix/check bus before master. I have 1-2 VST effects on each of these. Mixing down a 2 hour podcast episode will easily take an hour on a pretty decent machine - with 15% CPU utilization.

I realize this is complex, but couldn't the mixdown process be modularized to take advantage of multiple CPUs in the system, and thus probably reduce the mixdown time greatly?

I have the same problem. As we all konw,a song can be mixed by more than 30 tracks and lots of VST effects, but when I was mixing only 15 tracks,Audition's running became slow and I can't monite it,even if most of tracks were muted and pre-rendered.However,when I open the resource monitor,I only find 10% CPU utilization and 70% memory free.I wish Adobe can promote Audition processing speed

Media Encoder renders videos quickly, most of which include audio. Why is Audition still slow?
