Well, that's one way to make sureI NEVER pay any actual money for Adobe software...

Lmao... apparently the dev team have heard somany complaints about slow scrolling for so long that they've coded in huge jumps on scroll events as somesort of "fix" for what must have been atrocious performance. If y'all need to make such huge jumps on each scroll event - I mean, scroll events fire more than any other UI event, a veritable flood of them...

And how did you code such a thing without a throttle or debounce? It might be an genuine solution/feature if it actually stopped after scrolling an entire page on a single one of the 800 or  so scroll events that get sent with the tiniest swipe of my trackpad, I can't even use the scroll bar, since apparently that has the same kludgy event handling tied to it. Keyboard nav kinda works, but even that feels super unnatural.

And ok, maybe debouncing or throttling the Spaceballs-esque Ludicrous Speed scrolling is hard or something - but why not a toggle to turn it off, or a multiplier setting that could be adjusted? As an engineer, I can't believe such an old and mature software platform has such an appalling level of quality and utter lack of concern for or consideration of UX. Are you simply unaware that you're providing users with an experience that will turn them off of all Adobe products? I know I have zero interest in seeing what all else y'all have these days, and when I'm done writing this, I'm going to go find software that isn't absolutely silly, and I'll probably never look at another Adobe product again - the time wasted is a burn I'll not soon forget.

I tried for a few minutes, but since the POS also manages to make it ridiculously easy to accidentally click off the multiselections I painstakingly scrolled, with the tiniest finger gestures, to make, the damn thing is useless for the primary taskI had hoped to use it for.

To cap it off, after dealing with the  "let's scroll topage 10 if they even breathe on the trackpad" philosophy, everything else seems to scroll ridiculously slow, thus firmly cementing my decsion to leave and not look back, because having to adjust between evironments (or apps, in this case) is something I spent years eliminating (which is likely why almost every other software in the world adheres to UI/UX standards and best practices).

Have fun reading bug reports and "fixing" them by damaging the UX ofyour software, the reputation of your company, and your bottom lines. I'm gonna try and reacclimate to non-ridiculous UI.
