2024 not fully uninstalled after update to 2025 on Windows 11

I'm running low on space, and would like to be able to fully uninstall 2024 which is taking up 1.7+GB on my drive...
I've tried many different ways to remove it, without success...
I don't really want to have to rebuild Windows, but am thinking it's going to be the only way to resolve it...

Hi, @nickw7coc. As a Mac user, I cannot begin to help you complete an application uninstall. However, if a small 1.7 GB item on your computer is necessary, that's only a small part of your problem. For Photoshop, for example, to run properly, you need a lot more free space than 1.7 GB.
Most people (and I'm not saying you're "most people") have too many images, songs, movies, etc. on their hard drive. These can be removed (and not lost) by moving them to an external hard drive (and a 2nd hard drive for backup purposes of the first hard drive is strongly recommended). If you're running out of space because of too many applications, consider getting a larger hard drive for your computer.
Good luck

folders to a RAID, and regularly clear out the dross from the drive, I also
have uninstalled all unused software, it's just that I have taken so many
images that I still am having space troubles with my 500GB drive... and
that 1.7GB will make all the difference...

I beg to differ. I strongly suggest that you invest in a 1TB drive. Space is not an issue that you can dodge here and there.
Simply, bite the bullet now or later, but you will have to bite the bullet.
Sorry and good luck

computer is quite sufficient to run all the software I'm using, as long as
I can keep cleaning it out and moving my images to the RAID, but when I
can't remove software, it takes up space I could use more efficiently to my
benefit. I really don't need a 1TB SSD in my machine, I just need some
guidance as to how to remove software that's taking up the space, so I can
use it more efficiently for my needs.

Downloading Adobe's CC cleaner tool may help you get rid of your unwanted software:

Thanks @Erik Bloodaxe, I have done and followed instructions... and find the following anomaly as per the screen grabs... ?
As you can see, it's showing in Windows as installed, but not in the cleaner tool...
And now that I start digging about, I find that there's previous stuff still there... can I just delete that, without expecting any problems ?!

I honestly have never had cause to use the cleaner tool myself, I am simply aware of its existence and what it purports to do. Have you actually tried, perhaps without success, to uninstall using Windows Control Panel? Simply deleting files may cause issues for you because software installers place files in many, often hidden, locations including the Registry. If you wish to chance this then perform a full system backup first in case of a disaster.
For future reference, when you do install new Adobe software, use the CC app because, besides being safe and reliable, it offers you the option to clean up older versions.
Best of luck.

Ok.
Yesterday I had time to dig through all the folders properly, and found the cause of the problem...
In 2023 I had done some stacking of images, and the temporary files had been retained in the temporary cache, as well as copied when upgrading to 2024...
All safely deleted and 17GB recovered, along with a similar amount after digging through other software that had done similarly...
One day te programmers will get there...

Sounds like you are back on track then.
I would still save my pocket money for a larger drive though!
