Add bit dept to the top column

Is there a way to add bit dept to the top column.

Filtering and metada is cool, but would be nice to see the bit depth, as we work with lots of 32, 16s and 8s.

cheers

The Filter panel has Bit Depth as a filter.

It would be nice to see all the bits depths listed in 1 column, rather than filtering the bit depths.

I almost always use Details View which has no customization at all (and how I've asked for it...)

Cool, cheers.

We sometime have to check lots of files so list view with small icons is best for us - would be nice to see 8, 16 and 32bit in the columns in list view.

As a workaround the bit depth could be assigned as a keyword, rating or colour label.

What file formats are you working with?

Would that mean adding meta data for every file?
PSDs and PSBs.

Ideally I just want to see the list of bit depths.

Yes, adding metadata for ratings, labels or keywords using automation (JavaScript or ExifTool).

We can't change how Bridge works, so we have to work within the framework provided by Adobe.

We only want to quickly see which files are 8, 16 and 32 rather than changing any metadata.

Can we add a feature request?

Certainly, create a new topic labeled as an "idea" not as a "discussion":
