Adding Keywords to Folders

Is there a way to add keywords to a folder? Not the individual files indside a folder, but the folder itself? I have things organized in folders, but I would like to further categorize those folders by theme so I can search for "christmas" (for example) and find all folders I have categorized as Christmas.

No, XMP metadata cannot be added to folders.
