This October 2025 release of Adobe Bridge includes stability and security fixes.
Note: As always, the update will be rolled out incrementally. If you do not see the update in the Creative Cloud Desktop app, please wait until we roll out the public update to all users.

I downloaded it this morning and now cannot open a folders that contains my ARW files. In otehr versions I simply dragged the folder into Bridge and they opened as thumbnails. HELP, or where can I download the old 2025 version as that was fine?

If you open the Creative Cloud app and go to the Apps tab, scroll down to find Bridge and then hit the 3-dot ... menu and click Other versions, you should be able to grab Bridge 2025 (15.1.2) from there.

On a Mac, I can no longer drag a folder onto the Bridge icon at the bottom to have it automatically open. This is something I use all the time, and now I have to navigate in the app, which is super annoying.

I'm also having this issue. Currently running Bridge 2026 16.0 on macOS Tahoe 26.0.1

Try holding down the "Command" key while dragging the folder or file onto the Bridge icon, it should work.

Ciao, problema risolto.
Note: per LrC bisogna aggiornare tutti i cataloghi.

Anch'io ho il medesimo problema. Speravo di trovare una soluzione ma vedo che il difetto è piuttosto diffuso... Utilizzo Bridge 16.0.0.63 con sistema operativo Tahoe 26.1

I had this problem on my MAC today after downloading Bridge 2026. I eventually got through a person in Adobe who remotely excessed my machine, after about 30 mins of tyring various things, he couldn't "drag and drop" a folder into Bridge 26 either and said I had to wait for another update to resolve the issue. He did re-instal Bridge 2025 which works fine.

While the workaround to 'hold command key while dragging' does work for dragging onto the Bridge app icon in the macOS dock, it does not work for dragging onto the Bridge app icon added to the Finder Toolbar. Please consider this usecase as well when preparing the fix. Thank you!

Same. I have no word for the quality support I got. Released on October 26th, still almost no one at support team knows how to fix this problem, only one person told me to use the Command Key.

Great.
Please, improve Bridge for features, the creators need and use every day.
We need features to manage audio and video files.
Sorting and searching by audio and video duration length.

Just piling in to note that this update breaks the ability to drag folders or images (or anything) onto the app icon on a mac. The simplest fix is to downgrade to the previous version.
1. Go into the Bridge application folder on your mac and run the "Uninstall Adobe Bridge" app.
2. Go into the Creative Cloud app and click on Bridge to install... next to the INSTALL button there are three dots which when clicked on gives you the option for "Other Versions". Pick version 15.1.2.

Hi all,
unfortunately doesn't work and it goes in crash on Windows 11 last patches. Same issue using LrC.

The folder list in the new Bridge is still broken. When dragging files, there are dead zones between folders in the list — little vertical gaps where you get the “no” symbol instead of being able to drop. You have to hit the folder name exactlyfor it to register. There shouldn’t be any inactive space between folders — you should always be over one folder or another, with no dead spots in between.

Hello,
I was having problems on my Windows PC - Bridge was not providing previews of .webp files. I was actually able to preview the same files in Windows Explorer. But I want to be able to preview ALL my files (.ai, .psd, .pdf, etc) in the Adobe file browser that I have come to love. I followed all of the tips to try and get the .webp files to ve visible, including updating to the latest version of Bridge, clearing caches, etc. But no joy. What do I need to do to be able to preview .webp files in Bridge on a Windows 11 PC?
Thanks,
David

macOS 15: Drag and Drop an image on the Icon in the dock no more longer opens Bridge and the related folder of the image. That was very helpful and now I have to navigate in Bridge to the folder … Often double navigation while before working in the macOS Finder …

Thank you for your feedback.
This issue wasn’t intended, and we’re currently working on a fix.
For now, please hold the Command key and drag the file or folder onto the Bridge icon to continue working.
