Adobe Bridge Edit Metadata Across Multiple Folders

Hi All

Is there a simple metadata re-edit process when one field in the Bridge Metadata Template changes and there are thousands of images to update in a photo library...with the images sitting in an organised single folder but within many multiple subfolders...without the need to open each subfolder to apply the new template changes directly to the images in the subfolder?

Say, the IPTC metadata includes an address, email or phone details and one of these changes...

Any help appreciated.

Many thanks

Christo
