I use Adobe Bridge on 2 MacBook Pro's. On my old MBP, OS Catalina, it works fine. On my new one, MBP M1, OS Big Sur, Bridge will not look into my Documents and Download folders. It works on other folders, and it works with Documents on my external backup drive. I have installed the newest version of Bridge and it still doesn't work. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I think this is due to security feature in Big Sur.  Check how to configure apple Transparency, Consent, and Control.  This feature allows you to determine which apps can access, certain folders.
