Adobe Bridge Not Working When AutoPlay Disabled

In our environment AutoRun and AutoPlay are disabled on all Windows machines. After that change was made, the "Get Photos From" option in Adobe Bridge 2024 is no longer able to detect our Lexar memory cards inserted into the Lexar RW5550 card reader. It does not even detect the card reader. I have found other posts about this being a bug in Adobe Bridge 2023 and installing the latest Visual C++ Runtimes as a workaround, but that does not work either. Anyone have any idea how to get this working again? It is not possible to re-enable AutoPlay in the environment.

Yes, the memory card is accessible via windows explorer. I am not sure what you mean by "reader permission".

Hi Ariel35462299layj,

Thanks for your feedback.

As you mentioned, you can access the memory card via windows explorer.

Could you please also try to access the memory card within Bridge without using Photo downloader?

Thanks,

Bridge Team
