You do not mention your OS, so the display of the drive might be because you have not provided permission for access to the Mac OS.
HOWEVER, Bridge was never built on knowing how to work with a network drive. It was designed for the single user for images on the hard drive or attached external drives. If you have network needs, you need to look for applications and systems that are designed to work with networks.
