Adobe Camera Raw seems to be missing - Bridge shows no prior xmp file edits and has trouble making thumbnails

Big Problem just started today. Oct 21 2017. Running Mac Pro Yosemite 10.10.5

EVERYTHING was fine in Bridge until today and I can't make it work. thumbnails load VERY slowly - NONE of the raw file thumbnails are showing the edit or crop icons (NONE meaning in all my folders ranging back to 2014 for any of my Canon raw files - 1Dx, 5DsR, 5d3 5d2) and none of the thumbnails sow any of the corrections (tens of 1000's of files) ... BUT ALL TEH FOLDERS have all the .xmp files in place with teh origianl raw files. Vertical (portrait) shots started truning horizontal in the thumbnails, then turned back to vertical when I launched Bridge again.

When I open a folder to view the files within, the thumbs show and then go blank and Bridge begins building previews. With no xmp corrections.

Camera Raw Preferences will not open. Regular Bridge preferences opens but NOT the Camera Raw Preferences. Its as if the camera raw moduel is missing.

I have not done anything different from 3 days ago when I last had Bridge opened. Everything was normal. But this is alarming if I can't get Bridge to read the XMP files. I am relient on all these Adobe edited raw files for my professional business so I have to get this figured out and working again.

I just loaded some raw files I shot today into Bridge and clicked them to open up in ACR  (9.21.1) and got a error window that that tells me Photoshop does not recognize this kind of file (I just tried it on a raw file from 2007 from a Canon 1Ds2 - same thing) Its as if Camera Raw is missing and Bridge is not reading my xmp sidecare files anymore. Files will not open in Photoshop CC 2015 or 2015.5 (ACR just isn't operating yet my creative cloud tells me it is installed and up to date)

My raw files from today (1Dx and 5DsR) both open in: MacPhun Luminar, C1 Pro, Lightroom CC 2015, On1Camera Raw, Noise Ninja Raw editor, Affinity Photo, DxO Optics Pro, Alien Skin Exposure X2...  While I have been writing and trying all these other programs, Have of Bridge is exhibiting black thumbnails, but all the files show thumbnails in the other raw programs that include file management. But I am invested in the Adobe XMP workflow and smart objects linking to these raw files.

Somebody at Adobe - PLEASE HELP

I have uninstalled Bridge 2015 and 2017 and reinstalled 2017. The problem persists. Do I need to uninstall photoshop CC's 2015, 2015.5 and 2017 as well? Then reinstall and re do al my pluggins? I don't see a camera raw download on the Adobe website under desktop apps. Is there a way to download Camera Raw?

I fixed it - determining that the behavior was as if I was missing ACR - I downloaded ACR from this TechSpot Adobe Camera Raw 9.12.1 Download - TechSpot  Installed it and Bridge is reloading the thumbnails and reading my xmp file - raw canon files are opening again in Photoshop.

Very Freaky incident - leaving htis up in case anyone has this issue. Hope this helps.
