Bridge 11.0 on mac (OS 10.15.7) consumes a lot of memory after some hours

..the System is an iMac with 16GB RAM and after some hours of work the system reportst a shortage of memory. This is the Bridge while only been used to view pics and to start photoshop.

Two things that I seen help so far.

Keep PS link with Bridge closed unless you need it.

Go into preferences and select "use software rendering" for monitor previews.

You are right off the get go,  ham stringed because Bridge seem attracted to using upwards of 8-9 gig of memory and if you have anything else open your system slows to a crawl
