I have reported this bug to Adobe multiple times, but don't expect much to come of it. For the past few months, Bridge has become very slow on our Mac Studio M1 workstations. This wasn't the case prior the last update. Does anyone know the reason? Simple tasks like sorting through thumbnails have a significant delay associated with it. We have top-spec M1 Mac Studio workstations that are barely a year old, all running Sonoma. This is really ruining our workflow efficiency. Adobe if you're listening, kindly look into this matter. Thank you.

The last update was just a few days ago. How long ago did you first report the performance/bug issue?

Yes, I have already mentioned this error as well and no one responded to me or replied to me. I find it very unprofessional on Adobe's part.
Preview speed should be a top priority for adobe bridge!

Just an FYI, the vast majority of folks who help in these forums are not employees of Adobe. We are just volunteers who can help with most issues.
Since I have an M1 Mac Studio (but I am still using Ventura, so I cannot personally test any possible solution), I have not noticed a similar slowdown; it's hard for me to guess what or why you might be having such issues. Rather than guessing or supplying the standard list of "have you tried …" speculations, I did not offer any because I assumed you have already tried the standard solutions.

Can you try comparing it to version 12.0.3? I think 12.0.3 is better

We have done some optimization in the performance area in the last few patch releases. Could you please share the area in which you are observing the issue and the earlier version of Bridge in which this was working fine at your end?
This will help us to identify and investigate the issue.

Bridge Team
