Bridge 2020 closes when I click on a folder

Yesterday, Bridge started closing when I would click on a folder to view the contents. So I installed the new version. Last night it worked fine. This morning the folders are closing again when I click to view the contents. Can anyone help?

Thanks to those who know more than me,

Joe

First thought "reset Bridge preferences".

Second thought

un-install, run a registry cleaner, reboot, re-install

Something is buggered up with the registry.

Need more info

Which OS version?

Are folders on a external drive?

Could be permissions issues, especiallly if you are using Catalina OS
