Bridge 2024 crashes everytime and gives the message :

"FallDownGoBoom64 has encountered a problem and needs to close"

on a iMac with OS Ventura 13.6.5.

PS, LrC and AI still work.

I don't find an answer what "FallDownGoBoom64" is and how to repair it.

I already sent 10 times the crash report to Adobe but no answer.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

The message "FallDownGoBoom64 has encountered a problem and needs to close" is not the kind of message that Adobe is likely to ever dream up, as that is far to creative.

Despite your being on a Mac (as am I), I suspect you may have a virus on your system. Please try starting in "Save Mode," and see if the problem shows up.

This may unrelated to your issue, but it is reminiscent of a few years back when, within NVIDIA RTX Experience and GeForce Experience, certain apps appeared with crazy names. Adobe Bridge for example was named "peculiar ultra humongous cuckoo"!

Reported in this forum here.
