Bridge Application not responding

When I try to open Bridge 2023 or 2024, it says not responding and I can't open it. Should I uninstall and reinstall ? HELP? This is a MAC Book Pro that uses Ventura 13.2.1

Hey, @Maura31101045is1i. Welcome to the Bridge community.

What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far? Has this started to happen since a recent update of the macOS or Bridge?

 

Besides Bridge getting stuck at launch, monitor the Activity Monitor to know if the RAM usage peak, abnormal temps, CPU usage, and unexpected read/write operations.

 

To begin troubleshooting, test some variables like:

  • Unplug any external peripherals & use wired input devices.
  • Ensure Bridge has full disk access on macOS (follow the steps here for Bridge): https://adobe.ly/3PT2dMu

I have Bridge 2022, 2023, & 2024 installed. I generally try to use the latest version, but often 2024 goes into a "Not Responding" state (Windows 11). If I check in Task Manager I can see Br at maybe 2 to 5% CPU and maybe 200 MB of memory (my PC has 64 GB). After some time (maybe 10 minutes) I kill the task from Task Manager and launch Br 2023 which responds fine and I can use it OK. Later if I test Br 2024 it seems fine. So it seems a bit hit or miss. Of the three 2022 seems to be the most stable.
