Bridge CC 2018 exits and logs me out of macOS

Hello

I'm experiencing af little strange issue. Out of nowhere, Bridge exits and logs me out of the user session – just as if I selected "Log out [username]" in the Apple menu.

I get no reason, no prompt like "Bridge crashed, submit report" or anything. Just quits everything and logs me out. It happens when I try to view one or more images/files (like PDF) large, like hitting the spacebar or CMD+B (Review).

macOS 10.13.4

Bridge CC 2018 8.0.1.282

Anybody else experiencing this?

All the best

Michael

Usually this is the windowserver crashing. You can use Console to look through log files, there should be crash logs that might explain what is going on.

I would test with a new, clean user profile to see if that fixes it. If so, you have a bad preferences files someplace or something installed for just your user profile. If not, its a system-level issue.

Thank you. This made me able to find others experiencing the same issue... which seems to be a bit older than I expected.

Anyways, it looks like an issue between the graphics driver (old Intel HD4000) and Bridge. I've disabled the hardware acceleration, and had no crashes since. Hopefully, it stays that way.

Cheers
