For the past couple of days, Adobe Bridge stopped working on my laptop.
When I try to launch it, the window opens up blank and stays white until I force it to quit.
I am using the latest version of Bridge ( 8.0.1.282) with Mac OS Sierra 10.12.4
I have tried resetting preferences, the default workspace and purging the cache with Command+Option+Shift.
I also tried uninstalling and re-installing and it still won't work.
Please advise.
I've sent out a plea for help, let's see if anyone else can offer suggestions.
Just as a last series of questions: have you done anything else to your computer? Upgrade, suffered a freeze, installed any other software around this time? Is any other application not working properly?
Have you done any maintenance procedures on your computer at any time or at least recently. I've had strange issues and running the maintenance and cache solutions with Sierra Cache Cleaner <Welcome to Northern Softworks

Wow, you've done a great job of self-maintenance. Most of what I'd have suggested you've done.
A couple of quick questions just to fill in some potential places in your story:
When you said you had reset the preferences via the Command+Option+Shift, I'm assuming you had your fingers on those keys when you double-clicked on the Bridge application, correct?
Also, when you're looking at a blank screen, do you have access to the Preferences? If you do, can you select the "Cache Management" tab and select "Purge All Cache Now."
When you deleted and reinstalled Bridge, did you simply move Bridge into the Trash can or did you "Uninstall" Bridge either from the CC Application or from within the Bridge folder (you can find an "uninstall" app within the Bridge Folder). If you do the Uninstall process, please also select Delete Preferences from an option that should pop up.
Please let us know if any of this works.

Hi Gary, thanks for your response.
Yes, Command+Option+Shift while double clicking Bridge opens up the Reset Settings dialog where I've checked marked all 3 boxes.
When looking at the blank screen I cannot access the Preferences menu.
When I first deleted and reinstalled Bridge I used the Uninstall option on the CC Application. I just tried uninstalling again, this time from the Applications folder and the dialog to to delete Preferences popped up. I've deleted the Preferences and re-installed but still no luck.
What else is there to try?

Good luck!
