Hello,
My Adobe Bridge Version 12.0.2.636 always crashed when I called tools>Batch Rename.
I've Instaled just now (Aug 8th) the newest version and the problem persists. Any help?
Thank you,
Carlos

Have you tried #2:

Also, forgive me for asking, but have you selected images first before using the menu command?

Are the files located on a local drive, external or a network drive?

Hello Stephen,

I have just tried all in #2. I have purged the cache, reset the workspace and chosen a different workspace. It just crashes and closes the program without any notice or error popup. Hopefully it sends a log to Adobe... if it makes any difference.

We have to select at least one file for the option to be available in the menu, tho it only makes sense to have several selected to batch-rename.

Sorry, I don't know, I'm clutching at straws as it is!

How much flexibility do you need in the rename? A simple script could possibly do the trick if you only had a single filename pattern to work with for all batch renames.
