Bridge crashing on startup on PC windows 10

I just installed creative cloud and Ps Lr and  Bridge. The other apps work ok, but Bridge crashes 3 seconds after its opened. Its really annoying as I need Bridge for work, but can't access it. I've searched the forums for help, but the answers all for Mac only, and the online help with Adobe is of course, not working.

Most of these options require me to open Bridge. I can't open bridge.

I have uninstalled and re-installed several times, everything is up to date.

My internet security program will not allow me to disable it, so I can't do that.

Not all that happy about paying for a product that isn't working.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Could you please help us with the crash report since you stated initially that Bridge crashes after 3 seconds of launch?

Refer Photoshop Elements Editor Help | How to Find Crash Logs on Windows to find out how you can find the crash report.

Hi All,

We have released a new version of Adobe Bridge (CC 2018) on 18 Oct 2017. The new version build number is 8.0.0.262. This version is available to install via Adobe Creative Cloud application.

This Bridge update contains Native PDF Output in application and other new features. Please check for crash issue you are after installing new version of Bridge CC.

You may need to update the Creative Cloud application and restart your computer to see the updated installer.
