Bridge does not display SVGs.

This used to work before the suite went to subscription. For some reason the only way to fix this is to RE-save the SVG with XMP box checked on export. This is an absurd work around since it was a feature that was working previous and I have a large number of SVGs for use on websites.

Dear Users,

SVG preview is not supported in Bridge CC 2018.

We are aware of this feature request and will be working on it in future versions of Adobe Bridge.

Regards,

Abhishek Seth.

Hi All,

We have released a new update of Adobe Bridge (CC 2018) on 16 July 2018. The new version build number is 8.1.0.383. This version is available to install via Adobe Creative Cloud application.

This Bridge update contains support for SVG and PNG files, with transparency grid. Please also check the "Libraries" workspace after installing new version of Bridge CC.

You may need to update the Creative Cloud application and restart your computer to see the updated installer.

Thanks,

Deepak Gupta

Why would we need to vote to include this feature??? Not being to preview an SVG in bridge is counter-productive and makes the entire program pointless, If i need to switch to finder or open each SVG in illustrator to see what it is, why would I bother to use bridge at all? PLEASE FIX IT!
