Hi janb51395312,
Sorry that you're getting an error message " Bridge has encountered a problem with the display driver". Could you please let us know the version of Bridge you're using?
Please update your graphics driver and troubleshoot your video adapter hardware.

@Akash Sharma:
Hmm, but what is the relation between Photoshop and this problem regarding to Bridge?
I have the same problem with Bridge CC, but no problems in Photoshop (CS6!) and my Nvidia Quadro K2200
Thanks!

That sound s a bit drastic, having to cold restart your computer.
Have you tried checking the status of Bridge to see if it's running?
Ctrl+Alt+Del for windows
Cmd+Opt+Esc for Mac
You can force quit the app this way without having to restart your computer.

Hi,
Try opening Bridge directly, not through Ps.
You mention that you are running Bridge CC. Do you have the same problem with CS6 on your computer?
I'm suspecting an incompatibility issue with the newer versions of Bridge.

Once again this question regarding to the first answer with the link to Troubleshoot Photoshop graphics processor (GPU) and graphics driver issues = Photoshop and not Bridge:

Hi cmeira,
Sorry about the delay in my response. The GPU troubleshooting article related to Photoshop have some general troubleshooting steps related to GPU, that might be helpful here as well.

But it's really strange. I can use Bridge CC by directly open it, but not via context menu "browse in Bridge" in Windows Explorer...

Are you getting a similar error message "Bridge has encountered a problem with the display driver" while launching Bridge directly?

Launching directly no problems.
Launching via context menu of a folder with DNGs: it crashes and GPU accelerating is disabled:
Launching it directly again, after such a crash, the GPU acceleration is activated again.
I can repeat this game again and again...
With CS6 no such problems!
System: FUJITSU Workstation CELSIUS M740n, Nvidia Quadro K2200 with a certified driver from Fujitsu for Win10/64 (2 months older than the newest one from Nvidia, which I tested, too. Result? Negative, too...).
THANKS!

Could you please check if the app crashes in a new administrative user account? Create a new admin user account on your computer and see if the app still crashes: Adobe troubleshooting: Creating an admin account in Windows

Has Adobe found a solution to this issue. It appear that many are having this problem and most have updated drivers. I have a newer GPU and everything is up to date. The issue only occurs when trying to open Bridge from File Explorer. When opening it directly, Bridge does work with the GPU.
