Bridge keeps crashing

When i open bridge on my mac and start looking through files it freezes up on me and i have to force quit.  when i try to reopen it just bounces and doesn't open.  then it wont even let me force quit at all.  ive tried everything.  clearing cache and startup data and nothing.  I thought installing the newest version would help but it's giving me the same issue.  im at a loss.

Sheesh, sorry to hear.

 

How long has this been going on? Other than downloading the lastest version of Bridge, have you made any other changes to your computer?

 

Does any other program cause this to happen?

 

What version of the Mac OS are you using?

 

Have you tried to rebuild the Preferences of Bridge?

 

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing Bridge?

 

Yeah, lots of questions, but all needed to know before I have any suggestions. Sorry

Hi,

Ive been noticing this problem now for the past couple weeks.  only happens on my work computer.  haven't made any system updates yet.  need my IT dept.  to update my computer soon.

 

Seems to be only Bridge right now.

 

I have tried unistalling/reinstalling it a couple of times. 

 

I am on version 10.14.5 OS Mojave

 

in preferences i've tried compacting cache and changing caching size hoping that helps.

Have them check your permissions for Bridge.

It does contact a lot of hardware and does phone home to the Adobe mothership.
