"Camera Raw editing is not enabled. Camera Raw editing requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature."
Hello,
When I try to open a file with Camera Raw, the error above shows up. Although opening the Camera Raw Filter in Photoshop works! Also double clicking a Raw file in Bridge will open the Camera Raw window, but if I try to edit a jpg file for example (right click, open in Camera Raw), the error will appear.
I'm using the newest versions of all CC 2020 applications on Mac OS 10.13. All earlier reported solutions with older Adobe versions did not work out for me. Reinstalled all the applications, opening Bridge through Photoshop also doesn't work.
Thanks a lot for your help, much appreciated!

Hi Mischa,
Please try to uninstall both Bridge and Photoshop FROM THE ACC App.
By this I mean do not drag the items to the trash, rather go to the ACC app (it is probably located in your Menu bar and if it's not there it should be in your Applications Folder). Look for Bridge and Photoshop and uninstall. The reason for this is that when Adobe installs an application, it goes all over the place. The uninstalling process makes sure that it removes all of that.
Once that's done than reinstall everything.
Let us know if that works.

This must be the problem!
I am using the temporary Corona license of my university, and a friend from school reported the same problem on her computer.

You are probably using a enterprise version which will not run on your machine even though you have a serial number.
Check with your university to fix the problem.
Worse comes to worse, download a retail version which will run for 30 days,

Jim,
Is Bridge different from the rest of Adobe's products for the "free" period? I belive that the 30 day free period was reduced to 7 days.

I was granted with a full license/full version by my university now, which solved the problem for me.
Thank you all for your help!

I am glad that your university was able to provide you with a full license. Unfortunately, that's not a viable solution for all insitituions. If we had enough Named User licenses we wouldn't require COVID-19 temporary licensing to provide our students with Creative Cloud at home.
