Bridge Panel not showing

New Here ,
Jun 26, 2017 Jun 26, 2017

Macbook Pro laptop, OS X El Capitan, 10.11.6

After upgrading from CC 2015 to 2017 I had to reinstall three custom panels. The procedure is, Applications-> Adobe Bridge CC 2017-> Adobe Bridge CC 2017 .app-> Show package contents-> Contents-> Application Data-> Custom Info Panels-> 4.0-> Panels.

In the Panels folder, I can see the custom panels are there. In each of the three folders I can see the files, manifest.xml, properties.xml, bin and loc. When I open Bridge and select Ctrl+I, only two of the custom panels appear. I attempted to install this panel a number of times. I even deleted all three custom panels and added them again, but for a reason unknown to me, this one particular panel will not show up. When I had CC 2015 installed, all three panels were visible. It was only after removing CC 2015 and installing CC 2017 that this problem began. It doesn't make sense why Bridge will not display that particular panel. Sure hope someone has the answer because I really need this particular panel!

Thank you,

Terry

Hi TShutter,

As I understand that you are trying to install 3rd party panels in Bridge and one of the panels is not showing out 3 installed. Please let us know the name of the panels you trying to install, are they free or paid? I can try installing these panels at my end and check If I can reproduce this issue.

Regards,

Mohit

Thank you for your response.

The panels were custom made especially for our use. I had a deadline on this project of 3 days, so I collaborated within my department who are using Bridge to figure out what to do. It was suggested and agreed upon for me to do an uninstall/reinstall of CC 2017, and then install the panels again. All three panels are now visible.
