Bridge reverts to first image when in Full Screen preview

I have seen simular issues posted but not this exact problem.      I have used Bridge for years and very familiar with how it works.     With the latest updated Version 13.0   2023  there seems to be a bug.     I click on my first image in a folder and use the Full Screen preview using the space bar to view it.   I can scroll through with my arrow keys like I always have for years.   Now when I press the space bar to go back to the preview screen the first picture remains highlighted and the last picture also remains highlighted.   Pressing the space bar again goes back to the first picture again.     Other than clicking on the last picture viewed, how do I stop the first picture from being highlighted?    If I leave it this way and use the space bar to view full screen then I can only scroll through two pictures.   The first one and the last one that was in the full screen preview.   I can't change this until I select other pictures in the folder.   This only started happening with the latest version.
