The thumbnails in adobe bridge content view no longer show the filename / ratings etc no matter how big I make the thumbnails, however the folders still show their names..Do you people at Adobe feel embarrassed releasing broken software and EXPECTING professional paying customers to waste their entire work day bug testing your wares and expecting us to pay for the privilege? PLEASE STOP RELEASING BROKEN SOFTWARE...Are you going to compensate me for my entire wasted work day dealing with your broken software updates? How much utter rage and wasted work hours do you think Adobe has accumulated world wide with the release of cc2019?- think about that for a second
Look in the View menu. Is "Show Thumbnail Only" checked?

Hi courtneyw,
Can you please post a screenshot of issue you are seeing. This will help us to understand the issue.
Additionally, try resetting your Bridge preferences while launching Bridge.
Thanks,
Deepak Gupta

Lol, you went pretty crazy there for something that was an incredibly easy and intuitive issue to fix.

We use these tools to earn our living. When they stop working, it's a pain in the a$$. I'm here with the same problem, and honestly the same sentiment as Courtney...trouble-shooting and not working.

Nope, Courtney was right to blast off. It can be frustrating when you get something to work one way, only to turn around, and there they go changing something else up. And I sure don't know anyone who is overjoyed and welcomes the pain of stopping your pressing day to figure out dumb stuff or resetting preferences just to be able to get your work done.
And I have to say I've been designing since before computers, and I'm not the biggest tech-head ... so my view is clicked on Thumbnail too with no information under the images either, and I have reset the preference but I can't figure out why I can't see the names. And even if it is an easy fix it's the time to look up the answers that are the killer. It's Saturday and not what I wanted to be doing with my day off.
I spend more time now looking for fixes for things than I ever did before they started doing monthly charging where the selling point was, ” But we can give you a greater span of updates!”
At the time we thought that would mean greater creative tools at a faster pace … NOT wasted time fixing silly poop stuff. ADOBE, I don't need you to constantly, on a monthly bases, change where I can just find my information ... only to change it right after everyone has just figured out what you did with it last week.
Not being uber-crazy here ... just want ADOBE to stop messing up our day with stupid stuff you've changed just for change's sake. Courtney is right Adobe ... Keep your sights on the creative stuff. Run it through beta testing and then ... Once you have all the bugs worked out ... Then you can present it to us in all your glory and we will all be in ah!
This is a much nicer experience for your customers than hearing the ripple effect of your co-worker's sighs as they hit a new STUPID roadblock .... "Ah poop ... where did they put that now! Anyone having this issue?"
For the love of god ADOBE .... give us mercy!
You go, Courtney .... complain anytime you feel like it. 95% of the time it is most definitely warranted. 🙂
Oops! Adobe said I used a bad word. I wonder if it will let me use poop instead? ...
You used a bad word in the body of your post. Please clean up the body before posting.

I have had the same problem on Bridge 2023 Mac (I wish people would include the version they use because Adobe occasionally changes the menus). The solution for me, once I made sure that "show thumbnail only" in View was not checked, was to resize the window to be larger. The titles appeared again. In my case, the titles disappeared due to the window size, which is a bug.
