Bridge unresponsive when another Adobe program busy

Community Beginner ,

I consistently experience Bridge become completely, or at least primarily, unresponsive whenever another Adobe program is busy.

The most spcific and usual suspect is InDesign. Whenever it is exporting, re-numbering pages, group relinking, saving or other general common tasks, Bridge becomes unusable and freezes with a white screen (Windows 10). This also happens with Photoshop too, if its saving or opening or othr such tasks Bridge freezes. This is independant of whether or not Bridge was a part of the process. Like im not opening from Bridge, or exporting to a folder that Bridge has open. I can start Bridge after Indesign has begun a process and Bridge remains unresponsive until InDesign is done its task.

This forces me to fall back on Windows Explorer to do any navigating through folders and keep working while the other program finishes its task.

Why is this? Are there plans to aleviate this strange dependancy? Any tips to keep Bridge from freezing when another Adobe program is "working"?

2020 was the year that broke my back and induced me to finally bring it up and be like what the heck am i missing or doing wrong? This cannot be the desired behaviour by any user, even by Adobe's engeneers....:p
