Can't label/star rate audio files from my sfx library

Hello! I can label and star rate every file on my hard drive except the audio files from a number of sfx libraries I got from different websites. Neither hotkeys nor label menu or rating column work. What is that? Some bridge settings or some kind of embedded protection these audio files may have? Thanks for your time.

Not all file formats accept metadata and Adobe apps can only write metadata to certain files.

What is the file extension of the files that you can’t label or rate? Can you add keywords or other metadata to any of these files?
