I already have reset all preferences and purge a cache. Is didn't help.

Any suggestions?

What operating system? Where are the problem files located? Have you tried Bridge 2021 (v11)? Do you get an error message or what happens when you try applying a label?

I use Windows 10 20H2. Files located on a local disks. Last time was OK - i've labeld files in a same filders with a same Bridge. And then something happend. I try label file with CTRL+6 or set rate stars with a mouse under the pic in Content window and nothing. No errors, no labels, no stars. It looks like file is locked. But BMP files or Folders where is JPG files is located I can label and rate. Only JPG files I can't mark.

I solve this problem. My antivirus app Avast blocked writing metadata in jpg files. I turned it off. [facepalm]
