Ah, I was afraid you'd say that. Ok, no problem, a slight variation of the process:

This time create the action but do not save them as jpgs, rather save them as tif images. This will leave the text as a separate layer over the image. Save the group of images in a tiff format.

Now, open each image and fine-tune the size and placement of the text on each image. Also make a new Action to save each image to a jpg format as you move along from image to image (open- adjust- tap the save as jpeg Ac

Yes, it's possible but it will require a few extra steps than just a simple click.

First: in Photoshop, create an Action that places text where you want it on the photo. I suppose the action could easily be named by text. For example, "Automation Testing."

Then, back in Bridge, select the images you want to receive this text treatment and go to Tools -> Photoshop -> Image processor. From there, select where the finished images will be placed, the format (JPG, TIF, whatever), the final size, and on the very bottom, select "Run Action," and select the Action created earlier. Then click on Run, and in a few moments, all images will be processed with your text on them.

The one advantage of this approach is that you'll always have these actions and can use them again next week or next year. In fact, I'd suggest creating a folder in your Actions section (in PS) called "Text over Images" or something that would work for you, so they are easily found.

Would that work for you?

Thank you so much @gary_sc Its working as you explain,

but I want freedom to place text based on each indivisual image, because each image has different composition and accordingly I want to define the text placement. and for each image has different text to place as well.

This will increase the processing time, but that's what happens when you get picky. 😁

sorry, that's the best I can come up with.

Good luck!
