Cannot label/rate Images in bridge

New Here ,
Jan 29, 2019 Jan 29, 2019

We are running an Imac Pro connected to external drives, with 2 different imacs accessing via network.

From time to time Labeling becomes unusable, Cannot rate/label with CMD + num or manually click to star/ make selections. Restarting the computer helps for a certain time, labels can be made but then will happen again. Cache size has been increased by double as well as purged, issue still persists. One way to make the issue happen on demand is if one of the other Imacs labels an item in the same folder which then renders the iMac Pro unusable.

Suggestions, thoughts, HELP???

Hi RMPSTUDIO,

Can you please try reset Bridge preferences and let us know if you face any issues.

  • Start Adobe Bridge and immediately press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) until the Reset Settings dialog box appears.

  • Select  options--Reset Preferences, Reset Standard Workspaces--and then click OK.

I am having this issue as well. I am able to rate in Photo Mechanic, so I know it's not a writability issue on the file permissions.
