Hello,
I prefer using Adobe Bridge and ACR rather than Adobe Lightroom. However, I have noticed that lightroom will save you photos in the cloud and I can access them on my laptop and on my iPhone in the Adobe Lightroom app. Is there a similar cloud backup system for photos in Bridge and its edits?

This is simple: no.
If you want what LR provides, than use LR. If you like how Bridge and ACR works, use that.
FWIW, LR and LR Classic is ACR with extra features and capabilities (and interface) but the results are just the same.

And this might be a novice question but does LR offer the keyword functionality as in Bridge? I use that feature to sort through all my photos.

No problem, everyone starts as a beginner.
Answer is yes. With the exception that they are much more powerful and much more reliable.

And to correct and add to my comment, please: when I said Lightroom, I was referring to Lightroom Classic, not Lightroom.
Lightroom's footnotes are not anywhere as strong as Lightroom Classic.
(And please blame Adobe for all this name confusion.)

Just understand that that cloud support syncing comes at a loss of performance.
The latency caused by syncing files during operation is a big concern for people.
It will only get worse and images sizes increase.
Also you break the workflow of color management once you go cloud based.
None of those secondary apps and devices are color managed.
Not a easy choice to make.
