Create custom shortcut

Is it possible to create a keyboard shortcut that places 1 photo or a selection of photos directly in InDesign?
( command: File > Place > In InDesign )

Unfortunately, no. Bridge does not have any ability to make or customize keyboard shortcuts.

YES! I did it on my MacBook.
Go to: Apple > System settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > App Shortcuts > click + choose Application BRIDGE > Fill the exact name of the menu command [ = In Indesgn ] > click on the keyboard the shortcut you want to assign.

[As can be assumed, this approach will only work on Macs, not PCs. The lack of ability to set keyboard commands remains unavailable within Bridge. Moderator.]

Ah, thank you @stsmt, I was answering the person's specific question. I didn't include the Mac approach because PC users cannot do that. I went ahead and gave your answer the Correct Answer marking but hopefully, PC users will see this also and note that they cannot do that.

In fact, I haven't anything more to say than stsmt told us - but I need to emphasize it: To me, it's been boring boring that when I need to see my PS files in the order I want I need to use mouse to arrange the order. NOW, thanks to stsms, I made some shotcuts - and I can get my photo files in the right order instantly!
