Downloader on Mac in Bridge CC2017

Explorer ,
Nov 04, 2016 Nov 04, 2016

At last after more than one years waiting the Photo Downloader is now back working on Mac! Both my cameras (Canon 1D Mark IV and 5D Mark III) are working with Downloader using the new Bridge CC2017.

One problem though. Connected with usb-cable the images on the memory cards are not deleted when this option chosen. Both cameras with these problems. No error messages. Just a message that the images have been deleted, but still on the memory card!

Hi Stefan,

Can you check if you read and write permissions on the memory card or only read permissions.

Regards,

Gautam

Right click on the image and choose get info and check if you have read & write permissions.

TO isolate the issue copy one image to desktop and then try to delete that file from Bridge.

Gautam

What?! I believe you have completely misunderstood the problem.

When using Photo Downloader in Bridge importing my images from my camera there is an option to delete the images from the card in my camera after import. This is not working using Bridge CC2017. Even though the Downloader says the images have been deleted they have not. I have to delete them using the camera software.

This has nothing to do with writable or readable! If the card was just readable I would never have had the possibility to take any photos whatsoever.

Still no solution to this problem?! I am paying for this product! When connected with usb on both of my cameras (Canon 1D mark IV and 5D Mark III) the Photodownloader shuts down almost everytime in the middle of the import and I have to restart all over. This is not acceptable!

And still the images on my memory cards on both cameras never are deleted even though the Photodownloader says this is the case! Not acceptable!
