I'm using the very latest version of Bridge 2023 (February 13.0.2.636 and I cannot drag and drop files out of the program AT ALL. This has been going on since the very first install of the 2023 version. For years previously I could do this and seems like an obvious feature.
I'm using Mac OS Big Sur 11.6.8
Just makes me wonder if the engineers even use these programs at all. This isn't some obscure feature or anything.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do on my end other than wait for an update that may or may not ever fix the issue.

Please do not double-post. For those of us who are trying to help, it adds to our workload (and we are volunteers, so please have a heart).
I'm reposting what I added to your previous post, but please do not double-post.
Hi, @flatmacsurf, Since I'm using Ventura, I cannot accurately test your scenario, but I'm not able to duplicate your issue. I can drag items to the Trash and other folders; I'm not having the issue.
So, just checking the various options for fixing this, have you reset Bridge's Preferences?
Quit Bridge (if running). Just before clicking on Bridge in the Dock or double-clicking the application for the Mac, press Command-Option-Shift. For PCs, press Control-Alt-Shift. Then open Bridge BUT KEEP your fingers on those keys until you see a window pop up. From the window, choose “Reset Preferences," "Entire Thumbnail Cache,” and/or "Reset Standard Workspaces.” In your case, choose "Reset Preferences."
Please let us know if that solves the problem. If not, I've another thought to check.

I am having the same issue, under MacOS Ventura on an M1 Mac. Resetting the prefs didn't help.

The issue is the mouse pointer needs to be within an extremely narrow window for it to work. Even if the folder you're dropping to get's hightlighted, you need a second visual confirmation on the pointer where it gets a dotted square underneath it. Can't recall it was this cumbersome before.

I have a similar issue regarding drag and drop. When I open an archive (with Bandizip) and try to drag and drop the files from the archive to Bridge, it doesn't work. The drag and drop function works just fine in the 2022 version. I have reset the preferences and still the same.

Having the same issue with Winrar, or even when I download something from Chrome, if I try to drag and drop TO Bridge 2023 (13.0.2.636) it doesn't work, tho in the 2022 it worked just fine.
I'm on Windows 11.
