Have to force quit Bridge several times a day due to crashing/freezing

I have to force quit Bridge several times a day since the latest version. I can be looking at any number of folders when it happens, even those with only a few images in them. When this happens, if I have Bridge selected as the active program, I can't even click the Apple icon to go to the menu to quit. I have to select another program to be the active menu and then force quit.

 

Looking at other posts about crashing, there are no filename issues.
