The text is too small and would like to increase the text size. Cant find where to do it
thanks Shannon
Hi @NOW06, Go to your Preferences and go to the Interface tab. Then slide the bottom slider to the right for bigger, and left for smaller. Unfortunately, you have to quit and restart to see what you get.

Hi, @n7147, is there any chance that you're trying to slide the slider? It can only move in jumps (each vertical line is one of those jumps (thus there are only five positions). Let us know if that's the solution or not.

Ahhh, thank you. I did try to make it jump, but hadn't gone all the way to large for that. I don't have incremental jumps; just small or large, but large works very well for my needs. Thanks again.

There is no such 'Scaling Slider' in my version (most current version 2023-06-15).
Was it 'rationalized away' by Adobe? 😞

Hi @Fabiantech it SHOULD be there. If it isn't, you have either a bad instillation or you need to reset your preferences.
Alternatively, are you using a "frankin-computer? Did you build your computer yourself? I am guessing here only because 30+ years ago, I had a frankin-mac that occasionally would work really strangely on some operations.
Rebuilding Bridge's prefs:
Quit Bridge (if running). Just before clicking on Bridge in the Dock or double-clicking the application for the Mac, press Command-Option-Shift. For PCs, press Control-Alt-Shift. Then open Bridge BUT KEEP your fingers on those keys until you see a window pop up. From the window, choose “Reset Preferences," "Entire Thumbnail Cache,” and/or "Reset Standard Workspaces.” In your case, choose "Reset Preferences."
If you choose to reinstall, do this AFTER you've tried the rebuilding option (if it works, there is no need to do this also). After uninstalling, restart the computer and then reinstall.

We are still using CS5 Bridge. There is no Interface control, but we've had the same issue as reported by multiple others for CS6, etc. Update reports all patches are applied, but the font and thumbnails remain unreadable. Any suggestions where to find Interface; or what we might change in the Adobe Bridge registry settings?

Hi @Joyce311388084nhw, it's been such a long time since I've seen Bridge CS5 that I do not remember what it had for scaling. But, if you can get Bridge 2023 to work on your computer, you can scroll up in this thread and see what there is to access to change the font size.
My concern is that if you're using CS5, you probably haven't upgraded your computer in many years, and you might not be able to run Bridge 2023. Yes, it's a vicious game that the computer maker and software creators play to keep us "in the game." I've no solution for you beyond suggesting that whenever you get a new computer, start putting money away so that in 3-4 years, you can get a new one.
The good news is that if you do get a new computer, you can take advantage of all of the new tools that Adobe has provided for you.
Good luck!
