Hello, I need to have a shared over network Bridge cache often 'fresh' and updated.
What is the path I should follow?
Thanks!

Hi Silvestro,
I'm very sorry to tell you this but it can't be done. Bridge was not designed to be on a server or shared.
I have no solution for you with Adobe software.

Hi Pete,
VERY interesting. Because I do not need to share a cache, this updated (and yet not new) information passed me by.
Thank you VERY much for this info.

Hello, here is the help file about the shared cache, it might share some light to your issue: https://helpx.adobe.com/be_en/bridge/using/centrally-manage-bridge-cache.html

This adobe doc you provided is about the only workflow information out there, but it is not prescriptive enough. It does not say where to find the exported media cache folder, how to view it, or how to share it exactly. Any details you know of that may help?

Hi, did you check the FAQ on that page?
Where does a shared cache reside?
The shared cache is generated in the same folder in which your files are present. When you export the cache for a shared folder, Bridge creates a shared cache folder (.BridgeSharedCache) within the parent folder and all its subfolders. The cache files (thumbnails for 256, 1024, full-size preview, and indexing information) for respective folders are generated and saved in the shared cache folder.
