I'm using Bridge to easily browse photos stored on three separate company servers, two of which I have to VPN into. Sometimes my VPN connection will drop without me realizing it and when I go to open a smart collection that is searching folders on the server, I'll receive a message that the folder cannot be found and Bridge will go ahead and delete the collection.
I figured out that there is an "Undo Delete Collection" in the "Edit" menu that I can use to restore my collection when this happens, but I would prefer that Bridge not delete my collections in the first place. Is there a setting somewhere to prevent this from happening?
Unfortunately, no setting. Favorites used to be deleted in similar situations and we were able to lobby for that to be changed. Adobe does not support use of Bridge across networks, especially remote networks, and it can be unreliable.
