I batch renamed all my files in bridge and now they won't open in camera raw/ photoshop

i batch renamed my files in bridge and now they won't open in camera raw and the CR2 name bit has gone. have i made the files not raw? can this be undone?! ahhhh how can i open them in photoshop and edit? thanks!

Can you please share a screenshot of the settings you used to do the renaming?

Can you please add ".cr2" to the end of one of your file's names and see if that fixes that file? Then you can use Batch renamer to add that to the files.

My guess is that when you set up the Batch renaming, you (inadvertently) told the renamer not to have a suffix.

Did it work?  I just batch renamed mp4 files and the are .mp4 still, but won't open.  Help?
