Keywords going missing in my workflow

My Client spends hours typing in "Keywords" in bridge to camera ARW Raw files. The XMP files are sent with the Raws. I can see my clients Keywords in Bridge. I Export the Files from Capture One and they no longer appear in under the headline of "KeyWords". Yet if I do finder info, they are still there? I couldn't find anything on Capture One about this. I see them in there when I process the files. I had ADobe log into my machine for 2 hours today. Couldn't find a solution. I upgraded my MAc OX to 13.5 ( As PS Beta was asking me to for all the features ). I have litereally spent half a day on this.. Hoping for a solution. I can't see this issue being even posted on any of these forums. Please Help!! Will be muchly appreciated...

The first thing to do is to confirm that the keywords are in the JPG file.

In Bridge:

select D2-24_GROUP.jpg

Open the File Info panel by going to File > File Info… or cmd + i

On the list of panels (left side), click on "Raw Data"

Use the search box at the top and look for "dc:subject". These are the keywords.

Are the keywords there?

You can do this same test on the RAW file to see if the keywords are the same.

Hey Thanks for helping me trouble shoot. No It goes missing when I process the raw file using Capture One 22. The Raws were labelled in Bridge 2023 by my client and they show up in Bridge, before I take them into Capture One to Process. When I am in Capture One about to process the file I can see the Keywords in the output panel. Just not showing up in the Keywords panel in Bridge after being processed, which is what my client want's to see. What is strange is I can see them in the "Get Info" Panel in the Finder... I will post all this also in the Capture One forums also and see if it's a compatibility issue?

Yeah, it's weird that you can see them in the "Get Info" Panel in the Finder. I was wondering where Finder is reading them from and if the keywords are in the embedded metadata at all.

Hopefully some one in the Capture One community will have an answer.

I sent in x2 emails, using your link. First was the raw file. The second email was the processed JPG which had the Keywords show up in finder info but not in Bridge.. I did however have the keywords as an option to do manually by check marking them all again from the side panel. It had to be a whole manual process where I compared to the originals, checked file names and selected the correct ones again for each image.

No one seems to be able to figure this out. Don't forget to refer to my original post for the other screenshots showing how they dropped out in bridge.

Thanks again,

Matt
