Keywords sorting ( In alphabetical order) is not working on Adobe Bridge 11.1.1.185

Hi,

I am unable to use sorting (alphabetical order) while keywording in Adobe Bridge 11.1.1.185, Which I was able to use on Adobe Bridge CS5. All the settings seems fine and almost similar to Adobe Bridge CS5. Please find attached screenshots for reference. I am using Windows 10 pro (64 Bit)

Keywords are always sorted in the keywords panel.

I am failing to see the discrepancy - your screenshots look like they are showing the same behavior.

@melissapiccone Please find the attached screenshots for your reference and let me know if you still have any confusion. The Keywords in Metadata panel are sorted in Adobe Bridge CS5 but in Adobe Bridge new version (11.1.1.185) are not sorted.

Look at where you have "other keywords" which may be the issue.

Interesting, because they are aplphabetical in the top panel.

There are some bugs with hierarchical keywords and the multiple keyword namespaces. I've reported them but no fixes.

I noticed that this behaviour started around two years back. The keywords now seem to stick in the order in which they were applied.

I use a very roundabout fix - I use a Lightroom catalogue alongside bridge. In Lightroom select appropriate images and "Read metadata from files" then "Write metadata to files". Now in Bridge the keywords are sorted alphabetically!

Hi, did you ever resolve this? I've been searching all over online and have never found a solution. I do image/video keywording for stock photograpahers and it's frustrating after moving from cs5 to CC and not having the metadata panel in alphabetical order. Really slows down my qc workflow - thanks!
