Labels Not Working - AGAIN!

Community Beginner ,

Im tired of dealing with this recurring bug! I've wasted hours resetting file and folder permissions, reinstalling bridge, photoshop camera raw. Changing keyboard shortcuts. Resetting preferences and purging caches.

PSD v RAW FILES

I can change the label of PSD files but not raw files within Bridge.

CAMERA RAW v BRIDGE

I can change the label of raw files within Camera Raw which then update in Bridge, but not within Bridge itself.

Das liegt vielleicht daran, dass RAW Dateien nicht geändert werden können.
Die Änderungen werden vermutlich in den dazu passendenb XMP Dateien gespeichert.

UPDATE

I now have some PSD files that I can't change labels on.

My first thought is that it's a permission issue as these files are on an external drive and have been edited on different machines however I've reset all permissions without success.

If it is a permisions issue, is there any way Bridge can provide feedback like 'YOU DONT HAVE PERMISSIONS'.? Does Mac OS provide feedback that can be passed on through bridge?

Are you talking about an external hard drive, NAS, cloud storage. memory card, or??? Have you granted Bridge Full Disk Access?
